Visit Ronda with kids
If you visit Malaga in Spain please do your self the favour and drive up to the mountains to the picturesque city of Ronda. Ronda is a great city to visit with kids since there is so many sights within walking distance.
Park at the Town Hall Plaza Duquesa de Parcent and walk to the main atrtraction the bridge Puento Nuevo. On your way to the bridge you can climb the old city wall. Your kids will love the challange. The views from the top are amazing.
Our kids loved the city wall. They played with the big iron gate for a long time, being cops and robbers 🙂
If you continue along the main street you will get to souvenir shops and small markets. Eventually you will arrive at the beautiful old bridge Puento Nuevo. The view is stunning and even the kids will be amazed.
Unfurtinately we visited Ronda with kids on a rainy day. The view in sunshine would be so much more amazing.
If you cross the bridge and keep to the left you will find the bullfighter arena. The arena might get your kids attention since there are many pictures and videos of the fights. Behind the arena you will find the park Alameda del Tajo. The park is a perfect break with kids. There is a playground with a small pond with ducks. Really nice and quiet, no cars and almost no tourists. The park would be perfect for a picnic on a sunny day. Enjoy the beautiful view of the valley.
If the kids have more energy you can visit the arab baths and the two old minor bridges.
The city of Ronda is well worth a visit with kids.Share on Facebook
